Overcoming Underearning: Last Class Until Fall

Have you ever found yourself starting to create a budget, starting to pay down your debt, or starting to make strides in increasing your income only to find yourself losing focus, losing interest, and losing patience?

Perhaps you've even done things like posting affirmations, making up vision boards of the house you want, the car you'd like, the lifestyle you'd like to live, and talked talked talked about your desire for a better job, a nest egg in the bank and that rental property you'd like to own- only to find the results less than stellar?

Or maybe you've been too busy MAKING money to do much of anything else, only to find yourself feeling burnt out, lackluster, and frustrated because you can't seem to make headway on creating that life you've been dreaming of.

So, why despite all your efforts, are you not making any headway? (Hint: It has nothing to do with bad luck, a family curse, or your lot in life.)

It's your thoughts and beliefs about money. Being an Underearner (one who earns less than her potential, despite her need or desire to do otherwise) has little to do with the amount of money you make. It has EVERYTHING to do with your attitude.

Overcoming Underearning® is a two pronged approach- it focuses on the Inner Work of Wealth (your thoughts beliefs and attitudes about money) and the Outer Work of Wealth (the mechanics of marketing yourself, negotiating higher pay, and managing your money). This process has helped thousands of women create remarkable results with their finances (not to mention they've lost weight, improved their relationships and increased their free time as well!).

My colleague Barbara Stanney wrote the book on Overcoming Underearning and facilitator Donna Otmani is leading a new session of Overcoming Underearning® which kicks off May 23rd.  (This is the last OU Tele-class she will be teaching until this fall!)

How To Land the Perfect Job!

Standing out in the job market is more difficult today than ever. Last week, I interviewed Judi Perkins on my radio show. She was one of the best guests I've ever interviewed, and her topic is timely: how to find (and get) the perfect job.

As a former recruiter, Judi set up and followed up on some 17,000 job interviews and reviewed over 500,000 resumes! Her placements ranged from entry level to CEO. She knows what it takes to get hired.

She explains how one of the shortcuts is to get through to the right people. Because applying for positions has gotten so easy, companies are being completely inundated with resumes from job-seekers who basically apply for any and every position that they are even remotely interested in. It’s now gotten to the point where
